I didn’t always know I was a writer. When I was ten I wanted to be an astronaut because the cosmos fascinated me -- it still does. After that, I went through a phase of wanting to be a vet. I had a variety of pets to show for it: two birds, a gerbil, four Angel fish, and a black Lab named after a character from Mortal Kombat.

Despite my uncertainty, I’ve always been an avid reader. My mom would take me to the Hartford public library where I’d read my favorite stories  Peter Beagle, Ronald Dahl, and R.L. Stine. I did a ton of writing while enrolled in the creative writing program at The New School in New York City, but I never felt like a true writer until now.  My debut novel, The Night of the Wasps, is on track to being published.
